Over the last few weeks I’ve been walking a lot to try to get as much exercise under my belt as possible. I have no real aim except to improve my health and well being. I also find a good walk helps me feel better psychologically.
Despite the desire for self improvement, I was tempted this week with some takeaway delights as well as a great burger prepared and cooked by Bron.

After a good walk on Thursday afternoon I threw it all away on a burger
Bron used Angus beef mince to make the burger. This was moist, tender and delicious. So yummy.
One of the great joys of any week is seeing Bron and enjoying a Mavi Breakfast wrap. Just look at the gorgeous tongue of hashed brown and bacon.
A simple breakfast of a Gorgonzola omelet with some spinach.

I ate this ate work for lunch one day this week. It’s a beef and mushroom hot pie. It was delicious.
Bron also made a yoghurt cake. I’d never had it before. It was delicious. It was moist and just sweet.

On Friday night Bron and I had a takeaway dinner. I elected for a steak sandwich with the lot. It had pineapple, beetroot, lettuce, tomato and an egg.
Bron invited me to dinner for hamburgers. She roasted some beetroot and caramelised some onions.
I love mango. It reminds me of my happy places, viz., Brisbane and Darwin
