Awesome steak dinner

Last night in Bowral it was impossible to find a restaurant with any spare tables. In the end it was the lounge and bar at Peppers Craigieburn.

The steak knife signalled a very positive feeling. This knife has a great feel in my hand. The blade was sharp and the handle felt nicely balanced.

The steak itself was a New York cut. Not my favourite but not the worst. It is a fairly lean cut without enough fat. I asked for rare. It was almost rare bordering on rare to medium. It wasn’t too bad. The flavour was a little bland which is not a disaster. Better that than too much seasoning.

The wedges were fairly salty but not enough to put me off.
