My calorie blow out

One of the areas in the place I work have regular morning tea sessions. I am often able to benefit from the abundance of food. This morning there was lemon and lime cheese cake. I mean how could I NOT have some. Between you and me, I had more than one piece.

So tonight it’s chicken again. Sadly in a mad rush I didn’t get the vegetables cooked at the same time as the meat.

Dinner and my calorie limit

Today was a long one. It started with some unexpected activity at work and then a series of meetings. They all went well but it also means lots of e-mail and correspondence to catch up on later tonight.

I ate judiciously today. I wanted to have a nice sized dinner and dress it up a little with a sauce.

Chicken thigh (sans skin) 320 g, broccoli 60 g, carrot 120 g, and peas 50 g. This keeps me in my 1550 calorie a day limit.

No food images tonight

I didn’t post any food images tonight. I cooked a loin of pork by wrapping in paper and putting into a low slow oven. It came out looking a bit ordinary. I had seasoned with olive oil, salt and pepper. It tasted fine, still moist but nothing to look at. Maybe tomorrow night I’ll post images.
