My Beef Wellington

Tonight I made Beef Wellington myself. It’s been a while but it’s one of my favourite meals. I used a thick cut of scotch rib fillet steak and seared it and allowed to cool. I rested the steak on cooled sautéed onions, mushrooms, parsley and prunes. On top of the steak I smeared some Maggie Beer pâté. The pastry didn’t look pretty but it worked and once cooked the whole thing tasted nice.
